Eyeshadow and lipstick are the two most popular products that can be used together every day.
Mixing experiences can be fun, if you’re in the mood to get creative. Playing with colors is fun, especially when you create interesting looks by choosing matching colors.
So here are some tips from Gitanshi Dua, a professional makeup artist, on some interesting eye and lip makeup combinations.
Pastel blue + soft coral: Pastel colors are so soothing because they are pretty. Pairing a soft pastel blue shade with coral lipstick for sheer or bold coverage is also a fun color combination that creates a serious vibe and a pretty look.
Blue eyes and nude lips: Apply blue eye shadow to the upper lash line and clean the rim with a cotton swab dipped in micellar water. Also use a cotton swab to create long cat eyes. Use a black eyeliner to line your upper lashes and apply two or three coats of mascara.
Golden eyes and bold lips: Apply a golden eye shadow over the entire upper eyelid and use an eyeliner pencil to draw a thin line close to your upper lash line. Then apply two or three coats of mascara to lengthen the lashes. Draw a line on the lips with a dark lip liner and use the right lipstick color.
Chocolate brown + nude pink: This is a classic combo and a super safe palette. You can apply chocolate shadows as simply as you want; All you need to do is apply a light layer of color over the lids and if desired, increase the color by applying more. Nude pink lipstick is a staple color found in almost every makeup bag, and you can also wear it with other shades if you want to experiment with it with some other palette.
Emerald + Peachy nude: Hunter green is a dynamic color duo that gives us every reason to wear it, from emerald tones to muted tones. Whether you choose a matte or a matte shade, either type will match the lipstick color. You can also use green eyeliner, cap color or can create a smoky eye using it. There are endless options and you will have a lot of fun with all the different outcomes.
Peach + Fire red: A little sweet, a little spicy, peach eye shadow and fiery red lipstick is a fiery combination. If you want to do some creative things, mix with your textures like you can keep everything matte or add a little shine on top of your lashes and lips to make the skin shine. This is a combination that could not be more daring.
Brown eyes + brown lips: Use a Bronze lip liner and line your entire upper eyelid with your lower lash line with this bronze eyeliner. Mark the bronze color using the sponge given at the end of the lip pencil. Swipe it with the golden eye shadow right in the middle of your eyelid. Brush lashes with Mascara. Use the same lip liner on your lips for a glamorous look and lips.
