With love and passion for the nail industry, Damon Ho – CEO of Medi Mani LLC has set a goal of making the Vietnamese nail industry name the top of the global nail industry map. Recently, he set the milestone for his journey when he was given the “Top 100 Typical Entrepreneur, Enterprise in Intercontinental Business Awards 2022” at IBA 2022 as the grand expert in the nail industry.

At the peak of his career, the first two years in the US, Damon Ho was hard to integrate into and never thought that he would come to the nail industry. However, when he knew that he had his first daughter, the financial and economic requirements to take care of his children forced him to choose to change himself, find a job to help cover his life and take care of his loved ones. That fate brought him to the nail industry.
After a long time learning and working at many nail shops, Damon Ho opened his first nail shop in 2017. For him, this is a milestone in his nail career. Over 5 years of pursuing the nail industry, Damon Ho has also won Nail industry prestigious awards such as 1st Place VIP Brilliant Cup International Championship Fantasy Image Horror, 2nd Place VIP Brilliant Cup International Championship Decoration Nail Crystal, 3rd Place VIP Brilliant Cup International Brilliant Cup, etc.
He has also been in the hot seat of many programs such as HTV Nail Cup 5th – 2020, Canada Nail Championship Competition 202, Judge of Kingdom Beauty Crown Lash – Brow – Nail Conference & Championship 2021, World Competition Show Mayan Gold 2021, Platinum Sponsor of Canada Nail Championship Competition 2021…
It’s been a long journey, with difficult starts, and challenges, but Damon knows what he means after all. Not only does he want to bring satisfaction to customers, but he also hopes his nail store can provide job opportunities for beginners, and elderly Vietnamese who come to the U.S. and often find it difficult to compete for a suitable working environment.
Expert Damon Ho said that the nail industry in Vietnam and the world currently has a lot of advantages because people’s beauty potential is endless. But the sad thing here is that Vietnamese-branded nail products have not shined yet in the industry. Although Vietnamese people who do nails overseas are highly appreciated for their skills, techniques and creativity, Vietnamese nail brands have not been taken seriously. Moreover, the value received by the Vietnamese people is not worthy of what has been diligently spent. These concerns have prompted Damon Ho to be more determined in affirming the position of the Vietnamese nail industry and raising the level of Vietnamese nails to be on par with the world’s nails.
From that thought, Damon Ho spent a lot of time supporting Vietnamese jobs at his Best Nails & Spa chain. Following the motto “Be the mentor you wish you had”, Damon Ho also put a lot of effort into training young talents in the hope that they can raise the reputation of the Vietnamese nail industry together.
Putting the Vietnamese nail industry at the top of the global nail industry map is a long journey for Damon Ho. But with his initial achievements, he deserves to be honored as “Top 100 Typical Entrepreneur, Enterprise in Intercontinental Business Awards 2022” at an international economic-cultural forum.
